The national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is also one of those expected to attend the funeral ceremony of the late Audu Abubakar today.
Tinubu and ex governor of Kano state, Rabiu Kwakwanso are expected to fly a chopper down to Kogi State.
Governor Idris Wada, the main challenger of the late former governor will also lead the state’s delegation to the burial.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate at the Kogi state election, late Abubakar Audu, who died yesterday, will be buried in no distant time in his home town, Ogbonicha in Ofu Local Government Area of the state.
More facts emerging on the cause of Audu’s death appear rather mysterious as relatives claimed he was vomiting blood prior to the announcement of the results of the election which was held the previous day.
Family sources revealed that the former governor, whose health condition had not been stable for some time, was poisoned and had to undergo blood transfusion before carrying out his civic duty on Saturday.
