While Antoine Griezmann won't make the trip, Atletico Madrid have arguably announced the strongest squad for the Australian leg of the International Champions Cup.
Griezmann and Koke are the biggest omissions from Diego Simeone's 24-man squad for Atletico's trip to Melbourne, but with Fernando Torres, Gabi, Diego Godin and Jan Oblak included, the Champions League runners-up look to be much stronger than Juventus and Tottenham.
Atleti, who left Spain on Tuesday, will take on Tottenham on Friday at the MCG before facing A-League club Melbourne Victory in Geelong on Sunday.
