Toulouse rejoiced on Saturday after miraculously avoiding relegation, yet one Domino’s Pizza delivery driver was left perplexed as the club played a prank on him to celebrate Ligue 1 survival.
With 10 matches remaining, TFC looked dead and buried as they lay 10 points from survival, with critics having already consigned them to Ligue 2 as such a deficit had never previously been made up in France’s top flight.
Coach Pascal Dupraz arrived at the club and instigated a remarkable turnaround, which was completed on Saturday – the final day of the season. Needing a win at Angers to survive as Reims beat Lyon, Toulouse scored twice in the last 12 minutes to secure a 3-2 victory and with it save their skins.
To celebrate, the club played a prank on an unfortunate delivery driver for Domino’s, who will sponsor the second flight next season.

“Good evening, Domino’s Pizza, Mr. Pascal ordered a Savoyard,” he tells the person answering the buzzer to the main gate.
Having received no answer after several minutes, he simply leaves the pizza at the gate and drives off... only for his misery to be completed by the top of his pizza carrying box to fall off as he bounces his scooter down the kerb.
“Order cancelled!” Toulouse cheekily announce at the end of the video.
