Former Juventus star David Trezeguet is not surprised by the unbroken success his old club have enjoyed in recent years.
The ex-France international represented the Old Lady for 10 years between 2000 and 2010, picking up two Serie A titles and a Champions League runners-up medal.
Juve are an unstoppable force in the Italian top flight once again, having won the Scudetto for the last five consecutive seasons, and Trezeguet believes the secret to that amazing run is simple.
"It is hard work. The players were totally willing and the coach has done the right job with all of them," he told Goal.
"And credit to the club because they picked the right players with the right goal and that was actually the aim.
"So the goal is to obviously keep on winning because we picked the right players with the right mentality, so they will have to step forward."
With the team's domestic superiority well established, Trezeguet believes it is time to make a similar impact in the Champions League.
"That's our goal. We have plenty of new good players with a great mentality, the right mentality, and that's our goal," he said.
"So definitely our goals are to be up there as protagonists in Serie A, the Coppa Italia and the Champions League as well."
And he affirmed that the upcoming International Champions Cup will be crucial as the team look to get into shape prior to another gruelling campaign.
"It is very important preparation-wise. So we came here to win for ourselves, for our supporters and it's even more challenging to have such great teams against us," he explained.
Juventus will take on Melbourne Victory and Tottenham in the ICC, with both matches taking place at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia.
