White House intern photos have been known to stir up conversation on social media — and this recent one seems to be no different than the ones before it.
Vice President Mike Pence took to Twitter on Wednesday to share an image of himself posing with the fall 2017 White House interns and congratulate them on a job well done.
"Great work by the Fall 2017 Page Class, who graduate this week and will return to their homes across the country," wrote the veep. "Spoke with them about their work on the Hill and what they plan to do to help our Nation in the future. Inspiring group!"

However, multiple Twitter users were quick to point out one glaring oversight in the photo: a serious lack of diversity.
"Wow, look at all the diversity in that group!" one user wrote.

Another chimed in that the lack of people of color left him feeling uninspired.
"It's like a mashed potato sandwich with mayo on Wonder Bread," joked one man.

The lack of diversity among the White House interns has been a topic of discussion for quite some time.
Earlier this year, a photo of the White House summer interns went viral, with many people pointing out that the class was overwhelmingly white and male.

House Speaker Paul Ryan also went viral last July after he posted a selfie on Instagram of himself with the Capitol Hill interns, who also lacked racial and gender diversity.
