New Arsenal boss Unai Emery may not have been at the Emirates for long, but Gunners fans have seen a number of changes made by the Spanish coach as he looks to get his new side back to the top of the Premier League.
With an 8-0 victory in their first friendly against National League side Boreham Wood, there are many reasons to praise Emery as he makes the best possible start in the dugout, but what he's done in the transfer window is even more impressive.
Here, we rate the new boys which have signed up to the Gunners this summer.
1. Bernd Leno
Position: Goalkeeper
Transfer Fee: £22.5m
Signing Rating: 8/10
The German goalkeeper's switch to the Emirates pretty much signals the end of Petr Cech's time at Arsenal. The 26-year-old goalkeeper can be seen as a long term successor for the retired Czech Republic international, who many feel is way past his best.
Leno can be seen as part Emery's mission to sort out the Arsenal backline, as he looks to improve on the club's poor defensive record in recent seasons.
The former Bundesliga keeper is definitely one of the most promising goalkeepers in the world, as he regularly makes the national team training alongside Bayern Munich's Manuel Neuer and Barcelona's Marc-André ter Stegen, although he was omitted from their World Cup squad, which will no doubt help his all round game.
2. Sokratis
Position: Central Defender
Transfer Fee: £14.4m
Signing Rating: 9/10
A very important signing for the Gunners as the experienced defender can help Emery's side end their defensive woes.
The 30-year-old has joined Arsenal for a reasonable price tag considering how the market is imploding these days. He is a physical centre back who is comfortable playing it out from the back which will match the aspirations that the new Spanish boss has thought of for this team.
Sokratis completed the first 45 minutes of the side's route of Boredom Wood, which will fill Arsenal fans with confidence after watching a number of seasons with mistakes from players including Shkodran Mustafi and Laurent Koscielny.
3. Lucas Torreira
Position: Central Midfielder
Transfer Fee: £27m
Signing Rating: 8/10
The energetic midfielder is going into unknown territory in the Premier League as he joins the Gunners from Sampdoria. The 22-year-old had a successful World Cup with Uruguay, getting many praises for his performances, in particular the 2-1 win against Portugal in the round of 16.
Torreira could be compared to Chelsea star and France World Cup winner N'Golo Kane, as the tireless midfielder likes to work hard for his team and tends to play the easy ball.
This would suit Emery's new side brilliantly as it can allow creative sparks Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey to roam free and create chances for the side without worrying about their defensive responsibilities as much.
4. Stephan Lichtsteiner
Position: Right Back
Transfer Fee: Free
Signing Rating: 6/10
Lichtsteiner comes into this Arsenal side with a wealth of experience which he can feed down to the younger players.
It will be hard for the 34-year-old to nail down a place in the side, with promising right back Hector Bellerin still a big part of Emery's plans. But the player can act as a mentor for Bellerin and others, as he has played with the best and against the best, boasting immense experience in the Champions League.
This signing can be very useful for Emery as the Thursday-Sunday routine of the Europa League can mean tired legs, so the Switzerland international can help out whenever he is called upon.
5. Mattéo Guendouzi
Position: Central Midfielder
Transfer Fee: £7.2m
Signing Rating: 7/10
One to watch for the future, the France Under-20 international joins from Ligue 2 side Lorient. The 19-year-old broke into side two seasons ago and has been a regular ever since.
With the defensive midfielder being linked with Manchester City and Tottenham in the past, Arsenal have been able to land the Frenchman who featured in the second half of the clubs friendly against Boredom Wood.
The midfielder has been likened to PSG star Adrien Rabiot as the next midfielder to breakthrough on the French scene. He has a big season ahead of him as he tries to feature as much as possible, but Emery must have faith in the youngster, otherwise he wouldn't have paid one £7m for him.
