A faction of the All Progressives Congress (APC), generally known as the Unity discussion board, have met with former President Olusegun Obasanjo in Ogun State.
The assembly was to conclude on the official defection of the discussion board to the African Democratic Congress (ADC), a political party loyal to Obasanjo.
The discussion board had earlier arrange a committee to have a look at the beneficial political party to hitch.
Among the events on the discussion board’s checklist is ADC, PDP, AD and SDP amongst others.
However, Famzn News learnt on Friday morning that ADC has been adopted by the stalwarts and leaders of the discussion board.
It was gathered that the choice necessitated the Thursday’s assembly with Obasanjo in Abeokuta.
Public Relations Officer (PRO), of the discussion board, Wasiu Olawale Sadare who confirmed the assembly of the leaders of the discussion board with Obasanjo, stated particulars of the assembly can be made obtainable to the general public on the proper time.
In a temporary phone dialog on Friday, Sadare stated: “Yes they met yesterday, they meet in Abeokuta with Obasanjo.
“That is what I wrote on my Facebook wall yesterday. And that's what I'm telling you. The leaders of Unity Forum met with Chief Obasanjo in Abeokuta yesterday.
“We will make details of the meeting known to the press at the right time.”
