On its final stop, PUMA's global 'We Are THE Arsenal' campaign' hit London, where fans love the Gunners so much that one wants to get married at the Emirates
"My dad actually used to support Leyton Orient. It was just me sitting in the living room watching all the games, making noise, jumping up and down, celebrating, scaring the cat - that was it. Seeing the Arsenal greatness, he started supporting Arsenal just like me" - One Arsenal fan managed to do the unthinkable and convince his father to switch his allegiances to supporting the north London club. Four iconic cities have featured in PUMA's 'We Are THE Arsenal' campaign that celebrates Gunners fans from across the globe. And London can rival the best of them, with another local insisting he intends to get married at the Emirates Stadium. “She has to agree,” he says. “Getting married there would be like getting married to my team and the woman I love.” The campaign made its first stop last month in Mumbai, where one Arsenal fanatic went as far as wearing his replica Puma shirt to a wedding. Thierry Henry, Robert Pires and Freddie Ljungberg joined Hector Bellerin & Santi Cazorla to introduce the series which is highlighting just how much the club means to its global support.
"These films are a nice way to recognise the importance of the supporters, and to show their knowledge and passion is the same in every continent,” said Cazorla. > - Goal
