The Brazilian midfielder was shown his marching orders for a pull in the Chinese side's clash with Jeonbuk Motors in Asia's leading continental competition
Former Chelsea midfielder Ramires has wasted no time making his mark after completing a £25 million move to Jiangsu Suning, as he was brandished with a red card in an Asian Champions League match. The Brazil international caused a stir in the January transfer window, leading a list of names from around European football who all ended up moving to the Chinese Super Lig. But the hooneymoon period appears to be over for Ramires as the midfielder was shown a straight red card in the 3-2 win over Jeonbuk Motors, with former Liverpool target Alex Teixeira also playing, and scoring his first goal, for Jiangsu. There was also a goal for former Manchester City and Everton striker Jo as Jiangsu moved top of Group E with four points from two games at this stage of the Asian Champions League.
