History was made at the Club World Cup when referee Viktor Kassai used the trialled Video Assistant Referees (VARs) system to award Kashima Antlers a penalty in their semi-final against Atletico Nacional.
The Club World Club clash between the Japanese side and their Colombian opponents saw the decision take place, with Kashima taking the lead when Shoma Doi converted the spot-kick
In a crowded penalty area, a set-piece was delivered in behind the Atletico defence before Daigo Nishi was tripped by Berrio of Atletico as the Kashima man was about to steal in on goal for an easy chance.
The referee was then contacted by video official as the offence was not initially spotted. The official did not instantly award the penalty, instead taking the time to watch the incident on a TV monitor before returning to the pitch and pointing to the spot.
While Atletico players crowded around the referee, there weren't too many complaints.
Much has been said about technology in football, with goal-line technology now used across the top leagues in Europe.
However, the introduction of video replays in football is in its infancy, with football's world governing body FIFA testing the use of VARs at the Club World Cup to support referees with "match-changing decisions".
