The 31-year-old beat off competition from Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Antoine Griezmann to scoop the prize. And Ronaldo had his family close by as he accepted the trophy, with son Cristiano Jr. and mumΒ Dolores Aveiro featuring in pictures alongside the triumphant ex-Manchester United star.
