AC Milan claimed a 5-3 penalty shootout victory over Bayern Munich on Wednesday, following a 3-3 draw in their International Champions Cup tie.
Mbaye Niang opened the scoring for the Serie A side before Franck Ribery levelled, 10 minutes prior to a stunning David Alaba strike which put the Bavarian side ahead.
Andrea Bertolacci and Juraj Kucka reversed the scoreline in Milan's favour, but Vincenzo Montella's men were again pegged back with a late Ribery penalty, taking the ICC tie to a shootout.
