Mexico ran out 3-1 winners over Uruguay in the Copa America Centenario on Monday, in a heated clash which saw both sides reduced to 10 men.
Juan Carlos Osorio's men took an early lead through an Alvaro Pereira own goal, and looked set to run riot when Matias Vecino was sent off for Uruguay after a second yellow card.
Andres Guardado was then dismissed for Mexico, levelling the playing field, before Uruguay skipper Diego Godin equalised.
Mexico, however, then scored twice in quick succession before the final whistle as Rafael Marquez and Hector Herrera both found the net to consign Uruguay to a heavy defeat.
