The new Citroen DS3
Citroen’s DS premium sub-brand has unveiled a new DS 3 supermini to reinforce the company’s move upmarket.
The original DS 3 – sold as a Citroen model – was launched in 2010 and won several admirers, as well as securing 390,000 customers (the UK is the model’s biggest market).
Its blend of eye-catching, futuristic styling and engaging driving characteristics proved highly appealing for a range of buyers (it was even Citroen’s most popular car among its driving instructor clientele).
The new model is based on the same platform as its predecessor, however, in nearly all other respects, this is a brand new car.

The DS 3 also has more personalisation possibilities for buyers, including options for the roof, body, rear view mirror housings, dashboard and gear knob: in fact, there are 78 body/roof colour combinations and four fabric roofs for the DS 3 Cabrio variant.
