The Niger State chapter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) yesterday said that it would shock the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming local government election in the state.
The local government election has been fixed for November 7, 2015.
The PDP hinged its hope on the smooth primary it held across all the local government areas in the state to pick its candidates for the poll.
The PDP Deputy Chairman, Tanko Beji, said voters had realised that they made a mistake voting the APC in the last general elections as a result of the party’s failure to perform in the last four months.
“Voters are set to correct the mistake they made in the last general elections and I am sure they will now vote for the PDP in the next local government poll,” he stated.
