The French champions are happy to have avoided an early rematch against Barcelona as they seek to progress to the last four of the competition for the first time since 1994/95

Paris Saint-Germain director general Jean-Claude Blanc has pinpointed Yaya Toure as Manchester City’s major threat when the sides meet in the Champions League quarter-finals.

Blanc has predicted a titanic battle between the two heavyweights and says the former Monaco and Barcelona midfielder is the man the Parc des Princes outfit should be most wary of.

“We shall fear Yaya Toure and they will be scared of Zlatan Ibrahimovic,” he told Bein Sport.

“The two teams have an exceptional standard of player. There are greats on both sides.”

The French champions are seeking to progress through to the last four of the competition for the first time in the QSI era, and were pleased to meet with City as opposed to familiar foes Barcelona.

"We've had a rather good experience in England,” he continued, referring to his side’s 4-2 aggregate win over Chelsea.

“We hoped not to meet Barca too quickly, not at this stage in any case. There are eight huge clubs, and it's City who have come out, with the first match at home, which is not really an advantage.”

The first leg is scheduled for April 6 at the Parc des Princes, with the return taking place six days later.
