Delta central senatorial district All Progressives Congress (APC) has said it would do anything constitutionally possible to reclaim APC's stolen mandates in the just concluded general elections in Delta State.
Ethiope West Local Government Area, APC senatorial candidate for Delta centra, Hon. Halims Agoda who spoke at the weekend at an APC meeting in Jesse, assured the national leadership and party faithful that APC ideology would be sustained in the state despite the abysmal performance of the party during the polls.
He noted that the people of the state voted overwhelmingly for the APC but was robbed of its mandates.
Agoda who is a former member of the House of Representatives and Chairman House Committee on Petroleum Resource, said: “Everything within our power will be done to correct this broad daylight robbery that was perpetuated against our party and its candidates from governorship to Senate and even the House of Assembly elections. Our people have implicit confidence in the APC and any attempt to rob them of such confidence and trust will be legally and constitutionally resisted.”
