Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger remains confident Mesut Ozil and Alexis SanchezΒ will sign new contracts at the club.
The Gunners are keen to tie down the star duo, who are both contracted until June 2018,Β to extended terms but have been in talks over renewals for some time.
However, Wenger is happy with the progress being made and has suggested he expects negotiations to be concluded once the transfer window closes.
"There is no reason for fans to be concerned," Wenger said at a media conference.
No surgery for Gabriel
"We are making progress, but it's a long process.
"They still have two years on their contract. The transfer market is maybe more of a priority now. Contract renewals usually take place outside the transfer window.
"But I still think they will agree terms."
Arsenal are also thought to be closing in on the signing of Valencia defender Shkodran Mustafi but Wenger is refusing to be drawn on speculation.
The north Londoners begin the new Premier League season against Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
