Arsene Wenger says he would like to see video technology for offside decisions to be introduced.
The IFAB (International Football Association Board) recently confirmed that a two-year trial period of video technology to assist referees will be held in Italy, which will be used in cases to determine if a goal has been scored as well as deciding on red cards, penalties and cases of mistaken identity.
And when asked which law he’d like to see included in football, Wenger replied: "It would be to introduce video for offsides.
"I think that it should happen. It should happen [in a similar way] to goalline technology.
"It would open up the game and would incite the linesman to be a bit more permissive. I think as well it would make many decisions easier."...
