The Manchester City goalkeeper praised Slaven Bilic's side - singling out Enner Valencia - after Sergio Aguero's goals salvaged a 2-2 draw at Upton Park
Joe Hart has admitted Manchester City could have had no complaints had they been beaten by West Ham on Saturday.
Enner Valencia scored in the first minute and shortly after half-time to twice give the Hammers the lead, but Sergio Aguero replied on both occasions to salvage a 2-2 draw.
The result lifts City to second place in the Premier League but they are three points adrift of Leicester City and level with Arsenal, who have a game in hand.
"I thought it was a brilliant game," Hart told BBC Sport. "They played football. It was great the way Enner Valencia was attacking.
"Sergio Aguero is a killer - even though he is not at the standard he says is his best, he's still scoring.
"We've come from behind. A draw was a fair result; a West Ham win would not have been unfair. A City win would have been unfair."
Hart could take credit for an important role in earning a point after pushing Dimitri Payet's first-half free-kick away from the top corner.
"That save did feel good from Payet," he added. "I had to move my feet quickly. It was a great game of football."
