Speaking at the graduation ceremony of Course 2/2014 of the Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre (NAFRC), Amosu stated the efforts of the Nigerian Air Force and the other arms of the armed forces had decimated Boko Haram insurgents, weakened their capabilities and destroyed their supply lines.
He stated the Nigerian Air Force had been able to provide strategic and tactical airlift for the armed forces to be able to combat insurgency within the North-East of the country.
Amosu added that the Nigerian Air Force had been able to support the operations of the military through the airlifting of troops and ability to drop supplies where needed.
He stated despite the pressure from the civil populace for a quick resolution of the crisis, the officers and men of the armed forces were not relenting in their efforts to flush out the insurgents in the North-East.
