Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has responded to the selection of the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Kpotun Idris, to flip down the Upper Chambers’ welcome for the second time.

Saraki expressed that President Muhammadu Buhari, “will not condone it”, noticing that no IGP has ever scorned the Senate’s summon since Nigeria got here again to majority rule authorities.

“The Leader of the Senate and the Chairman of Police ought to interact with the Executive. There are powers that we are able to train.

“This year alone, there have been over 500 or 600 deaths. The man who has the power to stop this has not come to brief the representatives of the people,” Saraki mentioned.
