Just after the withdrawal of immediate past deputy governor of Niger State, Ahmed Musa Ibeto from the ministerial list as reported earlier today, further Inquiry revealed that Ibeto with another nominee hail from the same state.
Ibeto’s name was among the category of names submitted to the Senate President last week Tuesday which was the first batch.

It was, however, most likely unknown to President Muhammadu Buhari that Abubakar Bawa Bwari whose name was among the second batch of 16 nominees announced by Senate President yesterday, also hails from Niger State.
The president, having discovered the development, sent a letter to the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, notifying him of the withdrawal of Ibeto.
