Suspended chieftain of the All Progressives Congress Timi Frank, has stated the party would crash if President Muhammadu Buhari ignores members of the New Peoples Democratic Party, (nPDP).
Recall that Buhari had reportedly stated he wouldn't meet with the nPDP since their difficulty was a party matter.
However, in his response Frank stated, “We haven't been formally communicated. We learn it on the pages of newspapers like all people else. If it's true- as a result of, there has not been a denial (from the Presidency).
“I wish to say that it was this similar nonchalant angle that the previous ruling party, the Peoples Democratic Party, exhibited that led us to depart the party and the party paid the value.
“If right now our President decides to say he's going to disregard us, so be it however I can guarantee you that we are able to’t be ignored. Our group just isn't a group that anyone can ignore. We have the capability to make our level.
“If we leave today, I can assure you the party (APC) will crash. We want to believe that that news is a rumour. I don’t think the President will say he doesn’t want to see members of his party.”
