Famzn News reported that the home of the Senate President and his deputy Ike Ekweremadu were invaded by officials of the Department of State Security Services (DSS) and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Tuesday.

While Senator Saraki was able sneak into the National Assembly, Ekweremadu was held under a siege.
“DSP is absent. He cannot get out of his house. He is being held under seige.
“This morning I could not also leave my street as well because some people believed today’s seating must not hold because some members want to move or defect,” said the Senate President.
After 15 senators defected from the APC, the Senate proceedings was adjourned til September 26.
