Nigerian musician Ayodeji Balogun a.k.a Wizkid has achieved another feat as his new creation jersey, designed by athletic fashion giant `Nike’ sold out 10 minutes after launch.
The Ojuelegba Crooner had earlier informed his fans on his instagram handle @Wizkidayo that his Star Boy wears, a collaboration with Nike was coming out.
“Nike X Star Boy out worldwide! It was all a dream’. @Wizkidayo said.
After a much-anticipated wait, the `Star Boy’ jersey, which was released on Monday at selected Nike stores sold out in 10 minutes.
The starboy returned to his Instagram page ten minute after to announce the good news: “That was fast! Sold out in 10 minutes! Love you all like crazy! God is working harder than the devil!”.
As stated by Nike, the collaboration shirt is a celebration of Wizkid’s Nigerian roots, and also a representation of the things that caught the fancy of Star Boy; football and fashion.
Famzn News understands that the shirt had the logo of his record label, Star Boy Entertainment engraved on the front side of his jersey.
The shirt also had Surulere printed on the back of the shirt: Surulere is the place where the star was born and brought up in Lagos.
