Grant Xhaka has confirmed his future will be decided before Euro 2016 amid claims that he is closing in on a move to Arsenal.
The Switzerland international is reportedly on the verge of joining the Gunners in a £30 million deal as Arsene Wenger looks to revamp his midfield.
Xhaka was substituted late on in Borussia Monchengladbach’s final Bundesliga game of the season on Saturday and received a standing ovation from the crowd while he embraced coach Andre Schubert on the touchline.
“I’m the wrong person to say something, you might need to check that with Max Eberl [Monchengladbach’s sporting director],” Xhaka told Rheinische Post after the match.
“It is so that the season's over now and there might be discussions over the next few days. Whatever decision is made, we will make it together.
“There will definitely be a decision before the Euros.”...
