Gov. Abdulaziz Yari of Zamfara State
Governor Abdulaziz Yari of Zamfara state has allayed fears of members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) over the emergence of a faction often called Reformed-APC (RAPC).
Yari mentioned this on Thursday in an interview with State House a News Media correspondent after a assembly with President Muhammadu Buhari on the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The governor mentioned disaster was anticipated in a massive party just like the APC, particularly forward of basic elections.
Although he mentioned he was apprehensive over the event, Yari expressed the conviction that the party management would deal with the matter.
He mentioned, “Of course, I'm apprehensive over the matter however it's one thing the party will deal with.
“You know that with the forthcoming elections, you'll count on this type of factor. You will count on disaster left, proper and centre due to political curiosity, particularly in a party with an overwhelming majority.
“The most important thing is that with the emergence of new leadership (of APC), everything will be resolved. Therefore, there is no panic.”
