It was reported yesterday, that Nigeria's legendary afrobeat singer and son of Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Femi Kuti, won't be performing at his usual show at the Afrikan Shrine because of a need to undergo surgery for an unannounced ailment.
Fela's first daughter who is Femi's elder sister and business partner, Yeni Kuti, shared a picture of him from the hospital bed in all smiles. Fans are already sending in their get well wishes to the Grammy awards nominee.
The nature of the ailment has yet to be disclosed.
