Last month, Ford announced that over 7,000 applications had been submitted online for the new 2017 Ford GT, which means that not everybody is going to get the chance to own one.
Ford's goal with their all-new GT is for it to end up in the hands of people that will actually drive it, advertise it (in a way) and keep it long-term. While it may seem unfair to some, it actually makes sense financially if you're Ford and you want to make sure that your new supercar will enjoy as much time on the road as possible.
One Ford GT owner, however, doesn't want to leave anything to chance, which is why he's hoping that what he does for a living will help him land the all-new model.
His channel has almost 46,000 subscribers and over 45 million views since late 2006. He also already owns a Ford GT, which together with the exposure he would generate for the all-new model should make for a very convincing case in his favor.
