Four people have died in a gas explosion near Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The incident occurred yesterday evening, along Eliozu Airport Road, in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of the state.
It was learnt that the incident occurred from a gas cylinder in a panel-beater's workshop.
Residents said two persons whose legs were severed by the explosion died instantly while two others died on their way to hospital .
As stated by them, one person escaped death by the whiskers, while another was injured.
