Alex Rodriguez Placed On Disabled List With Strained Hamstring

Alex Rodriguez has been placed on the 15-day DL with a strained right hamstring.

Rodriguez injured the hamstring in Tuesday night’s game against the Baltimore Orioles. He had an MRI Wednesday morning.

Rodriguez was hitting .194 with a .275 on-base percentage, five home runs and 12 RBIs in 20 games.

The Yankees recalled reliever James Pazos from Triple-A to take Rodriguez’s spot on the roster.
