Prof. Anthony Anwukah, Minister of State for Education.
The Minister of State for Education, Prof Anthony Anwuka, yesterday said the seven-man investigation committee set up to look into the allegation of s3xual molestation of a junior secondary school student, one Miss Okoye, of Queen’s College, Lagos by a teacher, Mr. Olaseni Osifala, could not establish any credible evidence against him.
The minister, who disclosed this at a press conference in Abuja, said the committee did not recommend any disciplinary action against the accused teacher, as the complait failed to come forward to prove the accusation.
He said: “The committee did not establish any credible evidence against the accused teacher, considering the fact that Mrs. Chinenye Okoye remained unidentified, faceless and inaccessible, despite the committee’s best efforts and assurances to protect her identity and that of her daughter.
