Turning up the insanity dial to eleven, tuning company Alpha-N Performance has just unveiled its tuning package for the BMW 1-Series M Coupe.
The 1M Coupe is already highly-regarded thanks to its 335 hp, turbocharged straight-six engine however, Alpha-N has managed to increase that figure to a Lamborghini Gallardo-matching 564 hp.
All that additional power has been achieved through a larger turbocharger, new exhaust system, custom intercooler, upgraded fuel pump, spark plugs and new ignition coils. These mechanical upgrades are then complemented with a remapped ECU and water-methanol injection system.
Alongside the engine modifications, the rear-wheel drive sports car has received a beefier clutch and a single-mass flywheel to help ensure the transmission can withstand the additional oomph.
While several tuning companies would have stopped there, Alpha-N went further and installed fully adjustable coilovers from Ohlins alongside a new front splitter and rear lip spoiler thanks to BMW Performance.
Inside, the passenger and driver are welcomed by bespoke racing bucket seats and a new steering wheel with integrated shift lights.
