Former Edo State Governor Adams Oshiomhole has been affirmed as the brand new National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Oshiomhole was the only candidate for the place, becoming a member of 14 others who have been unopposed by delegates on the National Convention of the party in Abuja on Saturday.
The names of every of the unopposed candidates have been talked about by the Chairman of the National Convention Committee Governor Abubakar Badaru Mohammed of Jigawa State whereas the delegates in affirmation chorused “Yes.”
Oshiomhole was the primary candidate to be talked about by Mohammed with the delegates chorusing “Yes” in affirmation.
Mohammed stated, “Adams Oshiomole has won unopposed, so I want the congregation to affirm. Have you?” The crowd replied “Yes.”
