Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of pre-loading card readers forward of the July 14 governorship election within the state.
Fayose made the allegation throughout a radio present in Ado-Ekiti on Friday.
As said by him, INEC and APC are doing that in favour of the APC candidate Kayode Fayemi.
“I don’t want to bring this picture out yet, but those who said preloading is not possible are lying. Right now, they are doing manual pre-loading in Akure as I speak,” the governor added.
“For polling items with over 1,000 voters, they unfold the preloading to between 50 and 200 votes per polling unit. In Ikere, 58 of such polling items had been focused and Ado-Ekiti has 158 of such polling items.
“They need to get individuals they may stuff with the poll papers and dump such papers within the poll bins at such polling items.
