The All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended the Minority Leader of the Gombe State House of Assembly, Ahmed Usman Haruna.
This was made identified to newsmen on Wednesday by the Zonal Vice Chairman. Julius Ishaya.
This is following the current failed try by 4 of the eight APC members within the House to question Haruna after he granted a press convention denouncing the current congresses of the party.
Ishaya stated the lawmaker was suspended for six months after he was allegedly discovered responsible of violating the party’s structure by claiming that the current congresses of the party weren't held.
He stated the minority chief’s motion was anti-party, embarrassing and had introduced the Gombe APC into contempt and mock.
The House had suspended the 4 members for fleeing with the mace throughout plenary.
Abdullahi Abubakar Maiwanka (Akko-west), Walid Mohammed (Kwami-west), Mohammed A. Bello (Gombe-south) and Abubakar Sadiq Ibrahim (Yamaltu-west) had been suspended for 4 legislative sittings.
