The suspects

Five individuals have been arrested for setting Dakali, a Fulani neighborhood in Adamawa, on fireplace two days after suspected herdsmen attacked Dowayan village in Demsa space, the military has mentioned.

It was realized that each one the 5 individuals had been nabbed by troops of the 23 Brigade of the military in Yola.

As said by experiences, these arrested are believed to have set the Fulani settlement ablaze in reprisal for the assault on Dowaya by which a minimum of 18 individuals had been killed.

The suspects had been mentioned to have been sighted by the troopers setting the buildings in the neighborhood on fireplace.

Items recovered from them had been a knife, 4 cell phones, one empty 10-litre jerrican and extra.

After arresting the suspects, the troops handed them to the Adamawa State Police Command for additional investigation.
