Arsenal fans have been looking forward to seeing new signing Granit Xhaka in action since his arrival was confirmed, and news he has returned to training early will be music to their ears.
The former Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder starred for Switzerland at Euro 2016, and after a short break he has chosen to begin regaining his fitness ahead of the new campaign.
But the 23-year-old is yet show his face at Arsenal's London Colney training ground and has instead been working with Kosovan outfit FC Prishtina.

Xhaka's parents are both Kosovo Albanian, and on a trip to visit family the former Basel man found time to work on his game.
And though a commitment to being at his best come Arsenal's clash with Liverpool on August 14 is admirable, Arsene Wenger will be praying he arrives in a healthy state on his return to north London.r />
