The 23-year-old defender is being punished for making controversial comments about team-mates and Laurent Blanc and faces a meeting to determine his future with the club

Serge Aurier has been banned from having any contact with his Paris Saint-Germain team-mates ahead of Tuesday's Champions League tie with Chelsea.

The right-back has been left out of the squad for their last-16 first-leg tie as part of his suspension for making controversial comments about head coach Laurent Blanc and other team-mates, including star forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic, in a video responding to supporters.

The Cote d'Ivoire international was criticised heavily by Blanc, with the coach saying he will "suffer the consequences" for his "pathetic" actions.


The 23-year-old's future at the club is now the subject of great uncertainty and the PSG hierarchy have taken steps to prevent him from further damaging the environment at the club.
