A trio of players were reported to have gone out after the Champions League draw with Juventus in midweek, but the club have insisted the claims are not an issue internally
Pep Guardiola has refused to condemn Bayern Munich stars Arturo Vidal, Franck Ribery and David Alaba over accusations that they were caught partying late into Tuesday night.
Earlier in the evening, the German champions had drawn 2-2 with Juventus in the Champions League, having thrown away a two-goal advantage.
Bild reported that Vidal left the team hotel shortly before 02:30am and returned four hours later, while team-mates Ribery and Alaba were allegedly seen to return at 04:30am.
Guardiola was asked about the incident in his press conference ahead of the weekend’s fixture against Wolfsburg but refused to openly criticise his players.
"They are very professional. That's the most important thing for me," he said.
The club also released a statement on the matter.
"The management of the team gave no instructions to the players," a spokesperson said.
"Everybody is responsible for his own night's rest. Training in Turin was not influenced by this. Preparations for the Wolfsburg game are going as planned."
