M Performance stripes are a signature cue for powerful BMW cars, however, they might not be the best addition on a Long Beach Blue Metallic M2 Coupe.
at an underground garage in BMW Welt, with the M tri-color band applied to parts of the front bumper, continuing on the sides and finishing off on the rear bumper, right above the diffuser.

Perhaps a better color choice for the M Performance stripes would have been the standard, no-cost Alpine White. The Long Beach Blue pictured here is a $550 option.

To get your hands on the M2 in the States, you'll have to spend at least  $51,700. Choosing the Executive Package, with heated steering wheel, Active Driving Assistant, Speed Limit Info, Park Distance Control, rearview camera and automatic high beams will set you back $1,250, while for the 7-speed M double-clutch gearbox, you'll have to pay another $2,900.

BMW's smallest M car was presented the previous year in Europe and it recently made its U.S. debut, in January, at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show.
