Driven by a twin-supercharged 4,7-liter V8 engine outputting 806 hp at 7,000 rpm and 679 lb-ft at 5,500 rpm, the Koenigsegg CCX is an absolute animal.
As a matter of fact, it can accelerate to 100 km/h (62mph) in just 3.2 seconds, reach 200 km/h (124mph) in 9.8 seconds and a top speed in excess of 395 km/h (245 mph).
With that in mind, one would expect a CCX to absolutely annihilate essentially any car it comes across on the street. However, in Turkey recently, things didn't go that way. A silver CCX was filmed drag racing a Nissan GT-R on a motorway and somehow, being comprehensively beaten by the Japanese sports car.
The race was filmed from a Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG and shows the GT-R not only taking off quicker however, continuing to pull out a lead before the CCX driver backs off at speeds approaching 300 km/h (186 mph).
Given how popular the GT-R is to tune and modify, there's a good chance this example has a host of engine and drivetrain modifications to make it truly worthy of its Godzilla name. Despite looking stock, it could easily have over 1000 hp on tap.
Either that or the CCX driver wasn't pushing the Swedish supercar, which sounds like a wise choice given that this all happened on a public motorway...
