President Muhammadu Buhari has felicitated with the former Minister of Labour and Productivity, Mr Emeka Wogu, on the occasion of his 53rd birthday.
The President praised the former Minister for his continued growth and development of the country having served in several capacities as Vice Chairman and Chairman of a local council, lawmaker, and a minister.
As stated by Buhari, Mr Wogu has distinguished himself in community development and national integration over the years.
Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina, said in a statement on Sunday that the nation’s Commander-in-Chief joined well-wishers political associates, family, and friends to celebrate the politician who served under Jonathan’s administration.
The statement read in part: “The President extols Wogu’s versatility and unwavering commitment to the Nigerian project, serving variously as Vice Chairman and Chairman of a local council, lawmaker, and a minister.
“President Muhammadu Buhari prays that the Almighty God will grant the former minister and stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC) long life, good health and strength to serve the nation and humanity.”
