Media mogul Dele Momodu has hailed President Muhammadu Buhari over the change of Democracy Day date from May 29th to June 12.
Recall that Buhari had on Wednesday made the declaration in honour of late Kudirat Abiola, the acclaimed winner of the cancelled June 12, 1993 presidential election.
And talking on the event, Momodu described it a well-thought out by Buhari.
“Well done PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI on this well thought out decision… Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” he posted on Twitter.
Recall that the late Abiola’s victory was annulled by then Military Head of Sate Gen. Sani Abacha with many calling for the nation to set out June 12 as Democracy Day.
