He advised the president not to allow his name to be used by anybody to oppress the opposition in any part of the country.

As stated by him, Buhari should keep to his promise not to be for anybody but for everybody.

The former Speaker of Ekiti State House of Assembly, Mr Femi Bamisile also commended the president on his speech. He asked the president to assemble men of unblemished characters that would work with him.

As stated by him, if Buhari must fulfil his promises to Nigerians, he must endeavour to assemble men of good character to do this.

Bamisile stated that Buhari must use his position to build a just and equitable Nigeria.

He advised him not to discriminate against anybody either because of his or her tribe, religion or political belief.

On his part, Pastor Kayode Adegoke, of the Living God Assembly, Ado-Ekiti challenged Buhari to keep his pledge not to settle old scores with anybody or group.

Adegoke stated that he should also make God his best confidant and consult on matters relating to national affairs before taking steps on them.

Chief Deji Fasuan, the Chairman Committee for the Creation of Ekiti State, an octogenarian, called on the president to live up to his promise to eliminate corruption and instil discipline.

He stated Buhari should also ensure early release of over 250 Chibok girls as he promised Nigerians.

He advised Buhari to follow this up by promoting regional military cooperation that would ultimately salvage the country from all forms of insurgency.
