A Catholic priest, Reverend Father Andrew Anah, who was kidnapped on Wednesday in Delta State, has regained his freedom.
The parish priest of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Obomkpa, was kidnapped by gunmen alongside the Obomkpa/Issele-Uku Road.
It was the second time he can be kidnapped in lower than 12 months.
The Public Relations Officer of the Delta State Police Command, Andew Aniamaka, confirmed that the priest had regained his freedom.
He stated the police would be sure that the culprits are apprehended.
Father Anah was first kidnapped in August 2017 alongside the identical highway and was launched after an undisclosed sum was allegedly paid.
