President Muhammadu Buhari has assured Nigerian youths in particular, and Nigerians in general that the change his political party, All Progressives Congress (APC) chanted during the 2015 elections, was not just a political slogan, but the dawn of a new era to bring about good governance. This was just as he commended the role played by the Nigerian youth in the success of the 2015 elections, saying that Nigeria’s elections became a model for democratic governance in Africa, because the youths, who were fully mobilized, used the social media to make the right choice.
President Muhammadu Buhari made the clarification at this year’s International Youth Day held at the State House Conference Centre (old Banquet Hall) at the Presidential Villa.
The president, who reiterated his administration’s commitment to fulfilling all its campaign promises, sought for people’s cooperation and patience in this regard.
