Minister of Interior Abdulrahman Dambazau
The Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau has confirmed that 210 inmates escaped from the Minna Maximum Prisons in Niger state.
Dambazau said this recognized on Monday when he visited the Prisons the place there the jailbreak occured.

Spokesperson of the Prison service in Niger state, Rabiu Shuaibu earlier mentioned the inmates escaped after an invasion by some gunmen on Sunday night time.
The minister whereas confirming the incident informed journalists that over 35 inmates who fled have been rearrested.
Dambazau alongside Governor Abubakar Bello of Niger state inspected the ability to establish the state of affairs.
