Ex-Minister of Culture Femi Fani-Kayode has mentioned Senate President Bukola Saraki “is not an armed robber or a murderer” following his summon by the Police.
Recall that the previous Kwara State Governor was invited by the Police over alleged sponsorship of suspects within the Offa bank theft earlier within the 12 months.
Although Saraki has expressed readiness to honour the invite, Fani-Kayode admitted that even when he doesn't agree with him on sure issues, the lawmaker can by no means do such factor.
In a tweet, Fani-Kayode wrote that, “I've identified @bukolasaraki for 40 years and our households have been shut.
“I may not agree with him on many things,including his choice of pol. party,but one thing that I can say is this: he is not an armed robber or a murderer and he is not a sponsorer of armed robbers and murderers.”
